Research

Currently, there are important academic collaborations in Mexico and abroad, as well as strong ties with the Mexican agro-industrial sector, primarily with companies belonging to the Grupo Molina Corporation in Sonora and Jalisco.

The main lines of research being developed are:

·      Phytochemistry of native plants from Baja California

·      Synthesis of natural products of medicinal and agricultural interest

·      Remediation of contaminated soils and environmental management

·      Soil fertility and plant nutrition, especially in grape crops

·      Technological development of fertilizers, pesticides, soil improvers, and plant biostimulants
